Yangshupu Water Plant -- First modern water plant in China, built in 1883 and keep running for 134 years
As the largest estuary reservoir in the world , Qingcaosha Reservoir is located in the south and north passage bifurcation of Yangtze River, northern Changxing Island. The reservoir is built in 2011 and is with effective storage capacity of 553 million m3, providing.7.31 million m3 raw water per day, accounting for over 50% of the total raw water supply in Shanghai and serving over 13 million people.
Yangshupu Water Plant
All over Shanghai, Yangshupu Water Plant best describes the concept of castle. In spite of the Oriental Pearl behind it, it revokes the feeling of waling in the British countryside. From 1883 till now, it has born its critical missions for 127 years．
Water Quality Testing Center of NERC
Testing center as the water quality laboratory department was begun to construct in 2008 by “9880” project funds and officially established in 2012. System documents were established in July 2012, including quality manual, program file and work instruction. It has passed Shanghai CMA metrological certification, and obtained the qualification of 106 testing items in April 2013, which has been added in September 2013. Now it has obtained 120 testing items qualification, covering 106 testing items of drinking water standard and 109 testing items of surface water standard.
